Responsibilities
As a Food Counter Attendant, your duties may include the following:
- Greet customers and provide friendly, courteous service
- Take customer orders accurately
- Prepare and serve food and beverages according to established procedures
- Handle customer requests and provide information about menu items
- Receive and process customer payments
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of counters, tables, and service areas
- Replenish food, beverages, supplies, and other items as required
- Follow food safety and hygiene procedures
- Assist with general cleaning duties in the food service area
- Work cooperatively with other staff members to maintain efficient service
- Ensure customers receive their orders accurately and promptly
