Growth Farms Pty Ltd is hiring a Farm Hand in Forbes, Dubbo & Central West NSW, Australia. This is a full-time opportunity working on one of the company’s newly acquired properties, with a focus on large-scale cropping. The successful candidate will report directly to the Farm Manager and work within a progressive, systemised cropping business using modern farming equipment and established operational processes.

Responsibilities
As a Farm Hand, your duties may include the following:
- Operate a variety of modern agricultural machinery and equipment.
- Operate spraying units and spreaders according to farm requirements.
- Operate chaser bins and headers when required.
- Drive and operate a John Deere 616 See & Spray.
- Carry out precision spraying operations using modern spraying technology.
- Apply broadacre and camera spraying techniques accurately.
- Monitor spraying operations and maintain a high level of attention to detail.
- Perform general farm duties across the cropping operation.
- Assist the Farm Manager with day-to-day farm activities.
- Follow established operational processes and farming systems.
- Maintain farm machinery and equipment in good working condition.
- Identify mechanical issues and report maintenance requirements.
- Support efficient operation of farm machinery and equipment.
- Assist with maintaining safe and productive farm operations.
- Follow workplace health and safety procedures.
- Support and improve WHS practices across the farm.
- Work independently when required.
- Work cooperatively with the wider farm team.
- Complete assigned tasks responsibly and efficiently.
- Contribute to the ongoing performance of the cropping operation.
- Assist with other agricultural duties according to operational requirements.

Qualifications
To qualify for this job, you need the following:
Education

Experience
- Previous farmhand experience is preferred.
- Experience operating agricultural machinery is highly regarded.

- Sound mechanical ability is required.

Work Requirements
- Must be available to work full-time on site.
- Must hold a current Australian driver’s licence.
- Own vehicle is essential.
