Responsibilities
As a Retail Store Supervisor, your duties may include the following:
- Assign sales workers to their daily duties
- Establish and organize employee work schedules
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of retail staff
- Sell merchandise and assist customers when required
- Authorize merchandise returns in accordance with company policies
- Resolve customer requests, complaints, and other service issues
- Address supply shortages and operational concerns
- Organize and maintain store inventory
- Monitor stock levels and ensure merchandise is properly organized
- Prepare reports relating to sales volumes, merchandising, and personnel matters
- Support the smooth and efficient operation of the retail business
- Provide guidance and assistance to employees as needed
